Commercial Lines Account Manager
Vaughan - Concord Area

Our client is looking to hire a Commercial Lines Account Manager for their growing team. The book consists of small-medium sized accounts plus some large commercial as well. The accounts are largely Realty and Construction.


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing a book of Commercial business
  • Servicing all aspects of an account by taking inbound calls, consulting and advising clients on policy changes, requesting policy changes, processing all additional paperwor
  • Responsible for the review and accuracy of policy documents prior to the delivery to the client
  • Responsible for the preparation of proposals for prospect and stewardship reviews for existing clients
  • Manage account documentation (i.e., routine inquiries, quotes, binders, statement of values, insurance contracts, endorsements, cancellations)
  • Review client's current coverage and exposures, loss experience and analyze risk to determine the product/service requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely servicing and billing of accounts
  • Participate in actively in cross-sell campaigns and other initiatives as required
  • Preparing comparison quotations on renewals where necessary, and in a timely manner
  • Maintain positive working relationships with clients, staff, Underwriters and other departments
  Qualifications:
  • An active and in good standing RIBO license is required
  • Minimum 2-5 years of commercial insurance broker experience
  • Has or currently working towards C.I.P. and/or A.I.B.
  • Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • Client development/relationship management experience
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • A self-starter wanting to grow with the organization
