Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the brokerage to ensure workflow efficiency and service standards are maintained
- Support and manage operational processes across departments
- Train, onboard, and mentor new staff members
- Develop, implement, and maintain workflow manuals, procedures, and operational documentation
- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementing operational best practices
- Work closely with management and department leaders to support brokerage initiatives and operational projects
- Liaise directly with insurance carriers regarding operational matters, workflows, and service-related issues
- Assist with system processes, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization within EPIC
- Monitor operational performance and support staff productivity initiatives
- Participate in special projects, system implementations, and operational rollouts as required
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing operations within an insurance brokerage environment
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with EPIC broker management system required
- Previous experience training and onboarding brokerage staff
- Experience creating workflow manuals, procedures, and operational documentation
- Strong understanding of brokerage operations and insurer workflows
- Experience dealing directly with insurance carriers and market representatives
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and team support capabilities
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week in-office in Mississauga
- Flexibility to work up to 5 days in-office during peak periods, training initiatives, system implementations, or special projects
