Personal Lines Team Lead

Our client in Concord is looking to add to their team

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the Personal Lines team while promoting accountability, engagement, and productivity
• Keep team members informed on company updates, operational changes, and performance expectations
• Conduct formal employee performance reviews and ongoing coaching initiatives
• Complete quality assurance reviews to support employee development and service standards
• Hold regular one-on-one meetings with team members to review performance and provide support
• Lead team meetings to discuss workflow updates, operational changes, and departmental initiatives
• Build strong working relationships across branches and internal departments
• Collaborate with management on technical, operational, and administrative matters
• Ensure compliance with insurance carrier guidelines and company procedures
• Assist with onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance management of new hires
• Oversee a team of 20+ employees across remote, hybrid, and in-office environments

Qualifications & Experience

• RIBO license required; CIP or CAIB designation considered an asset
• Minimum 3 years of Personal Lines insurance experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset
• Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry practices
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Power Broker, Acturis, and Applied Rating (Compu-Quote) is considered an asset
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
