What You'll Be Doing
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with members and prospective clients
- Review new leads, assess qualification, and determine opportunities for consultation or sale
- Recommend group insurance solutions including health, dental, disability, and life insurance products
- Review existing coverage, explain options clearly, and ensure members have appropriate protection in place
- Refer members to senior advisors for more complex financial planning and additional insurance products
- Support the completion and approval of applications, including quotes, follow-up, and documentation
- Proactively conduct outreach campaigns to generate leads and create new opportunities
- Provide service support on group and third-party insurance applications when escalated
- Assist with overflow service requests and help resolve member concerns and escalations
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal service standards
- Represent the organization professionally and provide a high standard of member service
- College diploma in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3+ years of experience in a licensed insurance sales and service support role
- Strong understanding of life insurance and group benefits products
- Experience in both sales and administrative support functions
- Working knowledge of the insurance industry and client advisory process
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- LLQP required
- Group benefits experience required
- Investment or annuity knowledge considered an asset
- CLU and/or CFP considered strong assets
