Overview
Our client is seeking an Intermediate Commercial CSR to join their team in Markham. This role is ideal for a service-focused insurance professional who enjoys managing client relationships and supporting a portfolio of small to mid-sized commercial accounts.
The successful candidate will work closely with producers and account managers to provide day-to-day servicing, handle policy changes, assist with renewals, and ensure clients receive responsive and knowledgeable support.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Account Support
- Provide day-to-day servicing for a portfolio of commercial SME clients.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, policy changes, billing, and claims support.
- Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, and policy documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the brokerage management system.
- Assist with the preparation of renewal documentation and policy reviews.
- Support account managers and producers with marketing submissions to insurers.
- Communicate with underwriters to obtain quotes, endorsements, and coverage confirmations.
- Ensure all documentation meets RIBO and insurer compliance requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with insurers and internal teams.
- Support overall client retention through proactive service and attention to detail.
- RIBO license required
- 2-4 years of commercial insurance experience preferred
- Experience servicing SME commercial accounts
- Strong knowledge of common commercial coverages including CGL and property
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with brokerage management systems such as Applied EPIC, TAM, or Power Broker is an asset
- Salary $65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience
