Commercial Insurance Sales Executive
Our client is looking to add commercial sales producers to their growing team. You'll be at the forefront of mid-market commercial insurance sales, helping safeguard businesses while developing a profitable book of business. With the backing of experienced support teams, advanced marketing tools, and a proven training program, you'll be positioned to ramp up quickly and achieve a sustainable six-figure income. What will you do?
- Generate and qualify leads using targeted prospecting strategies to secure new commercial insurance clients in the mid-market space
- Review applications, manage renewal policy changes, and collaborate with a dedicated service representative
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients and internal team members
- Provide accurate, professional advice and personalized service to meet client needs
- Present and confidently communicate our value proposition to decision-makers and stakeholders
- Understand buyer personas, address key pain points, and develop solutions that resonate with target markets
- Deliver quick wins to meet established sales goals and performance targets
- Maintain detailed, accurate records in our client relationship management (CRM) system
- Develop and execute new strategies to attract target market prospects
- Maintain a comprehensive prospecting and sales plan to drive consistent business growth
- Stay current on insurance market trends and mid-market commercial client needs
- Network, meet face-to-face, and engage in activities that generate and close new business
- Partner with your Service Support team to ensure existing client satisfaction
- Provide timely updates and sales reports for management review
- Respond to client inquiries, gather underwriting information, and conduct necessary research
- Proven work experience of 1-3 years in commercial insurance sales
- RIBO license in good standing
- Passion for sales and delivering client solutions
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and committed to client quality
- Strong track record in generating new customer pipelines
- Experience working with a CRM system (an asset)
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication and listening skills
- Confident in both virtual and in-person sales environments
- Skilled at influencing, negotiating, and closing deals
- Persistent, results-oriented, and adaptable
- Experience with professional networking via LinkedIn and other channels
