Role and Responsibilities
A Sales and Service Representative is to be able to process any sales or service requests over the phone providing an excellent customer experience
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Preferred Skills
- Receive and service phone calls, emails or walk-in clients for existing clients by answering any questions and resolving any issues concerning their insurance, in a timely manner
- Processing endorsements and changes in tam and company portals, including completion of necessary documentation
- New Business sales – quote, bind and upload to appropriate carrier including all necessary documentation
- Ordering MVR, Autoplus and Hits – pull and attach to TAM
- Maintain an accurate activity log on all requests and conversations in tam and blue butler system
- Follow up activities in a timely manner
- Return telephone calls and emails received within 3 hours
- Attempt to cross sell and actively up sell existing products
- NSF, Lapse and Final notices to be addressed in a timely manner. Making reinstatement arrangements of cancelled policies or remarketing of entire risk
- Claim counselling with Insured and warm transfer to appropriate claim line
- New business, cross sell, and ex-date leads to be contacted and quoted within set time lines
- All other duties assigned by management
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Must have your RIBO license for 1 year
- Licensed in one or more other provinces within Canada is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Good communication skills (both Verbal and written communication)
- Knowledge of Tam Applied systems is beneficial
- Knowledge in Economical (Vyne), Intact (Savers and Contact), and Northbridge portals is a plus
